Prospects for a Just Transition in Asia: Navigating opportunities and challenges
There can be no one-size-fits-all solution to the decarbonisation of our economies, the energy transition, and the social-ecological transformation of our cities.
This publication from Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) showcases recent developments in the various policy fields in which the concept of just transition is enshrined, taking in examples from a number of Asian countries.
More editorial than report, the publication highlights international accomplishments, together with their national and local implementation, in a series of articles and book previews. As well as spotlighting success stories, it looks at the shortcomings of recent efforts and some problematic schemes for implementing low-carbon technologies.
