LCAW 2024: Roundtable Discussion: Upscaling Energy Transition in Indonesia Through Sustainable Financing

As part of London Climate Action Week 2024, the Embassy of Indonesia and TheCityUK are hosting a roundtable discussion titled Upscaling Energy Transition in Indonesia Through Sustainable Financing.

The event will feature Rachmat Kaimuddin, Indonesia’s Deputy Coordinating Minister for Transportation and Infrastructure, and bring together stakeholders and experts to discuss financing strategies for driving Indonesia’s climate ambitions and green investments for the energy transition.

The discussion will focus on the country’s current efforts to achieve a low-carbon economy and the latest updates on the Just Energy Transition Partnership financing commitment following the publication of the Comprehensive Investment and Policy Plan, which outlines potential priority areas for investment. Other topics include Indonesia’s journey to becoming a global hub for sustainable growth, as well as green investments and sustainable financing mechanisms.
