Global Just Transition Dialogue 2024
Just energy transition offers a unique opportunity to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy, foster a low-carbon economy, and create new jobs and skills.
iFOREST’s Global Just Transition Dialogue 2024 aims to facilitate knowledge exchange among key stakeholders to support the development of effective strategies for a just energy transition. Its goals include fostering innovative solutions, creating opportunities for green growth and job creation, and building collaboration.
This year, the Dialogue seeks to explore strategies for climate financing in the Global South and examine how India can play a pivotal role in achieving global climate goals. The pre-COP 29 conversation will convene policy-makers, industry leaders, investors, and civil society to discuss the urgent need for a just energy transition.
