Gender-Responsive Pathways For Just Transition


The International Forum for Environment, Sustainability & Technology (iFOREST) will host a webinar to launch its new report, “Gender-Responsive Just Transition Pathways in India’s Fossil Fuel Regions”. The research, conducted in Jharkhand, Odisha, and Maharashtra, outlines actionable recommendations to support gender-inclusive transitions.

The discussion will focus on the crucial role of gender equality in the energy transition process to ensure inclusive engagement and women’s empowerment. The webinar will try to answer some key questions: How do we make just transition gender-responsive? How can we ensure economic resilience and skill development for women?
