Expert Exchange: Financing Justice in the Just Transition

As just transition is truly transformative and effective when justice is at its core, the Expert Exchange on “Financing Justice in the Just Transition” will look at the needs, gaps and challenges that emerge from the domestic and international mobilisation of resources for the justice component of the just transition.

After an introduction on how climate finance resources have been mobilised so far and what type of mechanisms could work to implement just transition, panellists will share insights on how resources can be used to ensure justice is central when implementing just energy transition strategies in India and South Africa.
