Just Transition Forum 2024

At the Just Transition Forum in Pristina, Kosovo, the Energy Community Secretariat, in collaboration with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, will bring together affected communities, youth, and policy-makers to facilitate regional dialogue on the principles of a just transition.

The Forum will feature discussions with speakers directly affected by the energy transition, exploring its impacts and opportunities, and the role of trade unions in the transition and just transition aspects.

Highlights will include a video presentation featuring coal mine and power plant workers, a fireside chat with an expert, and high-level contributions. Other conversations will highlight the perspectives of youth on just transition processes, financing, and the planning and implementation of a just transition.
