Fireside Chat: Unpacking the Just Transition Guide

On February 1, 2024, Indigenous Climate Action will host a fireside chat on climate change and Indigenous leadership with David Suzuki and Melina Laboucan-Massimo, two prominent environmental activists.

This virtual event follows November’s official launch of the Just Transition Guide, a project led by Melina Laboucan-Massimo in collaboration with Sacred Earth Solar, Indigenous Climate Action, the David Suzuki Foundation, Power to the People and RealWorld Media.

The guide is an Indigenous-led publication on pathways to equitable climate solutions and resilience in the climate crisis, highlighting the need for Indigenous self-determination, inclusion, and the protection of Indigenous rights, knowledge, sovereignty and leadership in pursuit of a ‘just’ transition.
